St. George Wins!

Gold Rush 2009 will forever be the day James St. George etched his name into the record books as the first man to wear ACW singles and tag team gold in their career.  After a reign with childhood friend Adam Drake as the Southwest Tag Team Champions, St. George became the fifth Southwest Heavyweight Champion in ACW's history by defeating "Hollywood" Cody Jones and Quinn Murray in a triple threat match at the biggest PPV of the year.

ACW-MWA Rivalry Continues

The ongoing war between Alamo Championship Wrestling and the MWA Insurgents continues to roll along.  Sarah Mayson wears the Southwest Women's Title as a proud MWA supporter, while Quinn Murray has catapulted himself to the top of the ACW rankings with recent victories over Cody Jones and James St. George.

ACW News and Rumors

• The alumni of ACW continue to make their presence felt in the wrestling world.  First Jerry Titus, the first ever ACW Southwest Champion, won the MBC SBC Title and is the current #1 contender to the Heavyweight crown in Mighty Bastard Championship.  And more recently Taryn Weller and Fiona Cassidy, late of We 4 Girls, captured the MBC Psycho Driver Tag Titles in a monumental upset.  More impressively, they did it as members of the UWF, not MBC, roster.
